WHAT EOPC IS ABOUT

IN 2004, A GROUP OF PEOPLE MET VIA SHARED TRAUMA AFTER BEING TARGETED BY ONLINE PREDATORS AND DECIDED TO START THIS SITE.

THIS SITE IS PRIMARILY FOR ADULTS WHO PREY ON VULNERABLE OTHER ADULTS VIA: Support boards, non-sexual or non- 'hook up' chat sites, reunion sites and social networking, etc.

WE DECIDED TO TRY TO EFFECT POSITIVE, LEGAL CHANGE TO THE INTERNET, TRY TO CHANGE LAWS, SUPPORT VICTIMS AND HOLD THESE CYBERPATHS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE DEVASTATION THEY CAUSE.

WE EXPOSE ONLINE PREDATORS AND CYBERPATHS IN AN EFFORT TO:
  • Validate victims that what they experienced is pathological & out of the ordinary - and NOT THEIR FAULT
  • Use the stories to illustrate the seductive & manipulative pattern used by these predators
  • To hold them accountable in a constructive way, where the law has not (law enforcement seems to normally blow off Cyberpathy victims as "jealous" or "scorned" and do not investigate -- and the FBI CyberCrimes unit has a 8+ year backup)
  • To try to get predators to stop what they are doing to others (often doesn't work but it's worth a try)
  • Protect others from falling prey to these predators
  • Offer to find outside counseling or help for the victims for the Emotional Rape & PTSD
  • Offer to find help for these predators who wish to make amends to their victims and stop their online behavior.
In the right hand margin is a link to contact us, join our private email support group and get information on how to expose your predator. (Flaming or accusations that are not backed up will not be allowed.)

Never doubt that a small, group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

I have found many dating predators on Match.com. I am so horrified with the amount of bad men and the horrible things they are capable of. Since, I have dropped my account with Match, I would be safer going into a lion's den.

I have seen Cyberpaths on reunion sites and am sick of some of the activity that has gone uncheck by the owners of these “reunion” site. I myself will be glad when my account expirers and will not be renewing my membership base on this factor. I now use my profile to promote education and support links to help other members on this site.

I met a cyberpath on a Christian on-line dating site. He was not a paying member but took advantage of the many free trials. When I informed the site about him they immediately assured me he would not be receiving any more free trials and they are keeping my complaint on file in case other reports come in. I am still on the site until my membership expires - not looking for anyone but praying for others and warning others about the existence of these cyberpaths. I've noticed the cyberpath who victimized me is on other social networking sites including reunion sites and Youtube.
Thank-you for what you are doing. It is needed.

i hope you are aware that this site has been flagged by yahoo as one they dont aprrove of and has all kinds of warnings on it like enter and your own harm and risk ect. I have a feeling this occurred because this site threatens online dating dollars so has been noted as a now "maliciuos site."

I am amazed because the information here is really helpful and is protective of us consumers.

Yet online dating predators can run around screaming for their 'first amendment rights' while people who are victimized are more victimized and told "if u tell - see what happens to you. so shut up about us predators!"

It is like being an incest survivor with no safe place to tell your story to..

I can't believe this, porn is protected, predators and scammrs get protected but victims do not?

I am sure sites for online dating are reeking havoc to interfere with laws trying to make the net a safer place

I wonder what would happen if the search engines sponsors knew that they were funding and financing victomization? Would they even care?

God Bless you EOPC for caring about all of us!

My own exhusband (entering his 5th year on Match.com - although we've been divorced less than 5 years!) is another perfect example of the filth of non-humankind that can be found lurking daily on the internet. We were married for 17 years, together for 22 years. The humiliation and absolute decimation of my sense of self and of being a normal, well adjusted human being was pulverized to shreds when I came to know, undeniably, that I was actually married to an utter monster. There is no other word to describe what he is and what he does....daily. The amount of females that he has used, abused, and deceived is unbelievable. And I didn't really know the true impact until after we divorced. I would find him doing/committing things that were unusual and inappropriate, from time to time, during the marriage...but he was very careful and very steathy. BEWARE. Do not take at face value who these "single" men present themselves to be on dating sites, in bars, church, local sporting event, or even (I cannot believe this) standing next to their own child when they attempt to pick up these women. Disgusting. Disturbing. Devastating.

Desprate women looking for love, marriage and wanting to have a family, watch out, they are out there, and will take you down with them, then leave, with all of their helpful friends, to run and hide, lieing about you the whole time, turning things around to make you look like the cyber and then getting your friends to dislike you, as you change and become bitter.

I am a victim of a lying, cheating Psychopath I met on Match.com 5 years ago. It's been 2 years and 8 months since we broke up but I am still reeling from that encounter and every aspect of my life was changed by that encounter. Do you have a link or list of a good Therapists here in AZ I can go to? I need help and need a Therapist who understands the trauma of being victimized by this heartless, cruel breed of people.
